A Small Arena type map made in Halo Infinite's Forge Mode that supports game modes such as 2v2-4v4, Oddball, CtF and KotH.
The main inspiration for this level comes from not a FPS game but actually a horror game. After finishing up a playthrough of Silent Hill 2, I wanted to create a map that was atmospheric, eerie and gritty but still would provide nonstop action that suits Halo Infinites gameplay. For the level design its self, I looked to older smaller Halo maps that I thought provided a simple design but was extremely engaging even for a small space. Those maps, both from Halo: Combat Evolved, are Prisoner and Hang 'Em High. With the griminess of Silent Hill 2 and the simplistic yet effective layouts of older Halo CE maps I believe Restless is a perfect mix.
Taking from the inspirations, I created an initial layout for how I wanted to design the map. I showcase where there are inclines and cover elements as well as where each section of the map connects to eachother.
