Using Unreal Engine and Autodesk Maya, I created an intro scene to be used for livestreams on twitch, YouTube, etc.
This is the end result of my Motion Graphics final for my Computer Animation class at Arizona State University. The goal for this project was to create a graphic for a company that would be shown either at the beginning of something such as a broadcast or for a brand. I chose to make an intro graphic that could be shown right before a movie at Harkins Theaters.
After playing through Final Fantasy VII remake , I felt inspired to model something from the game. Truthfully, Cloud's Buster Sword seemed to be the easiest thing to do so that's what I initially started making. I then thought it would be cool to make my own version of the starting screen that you see when starting up the game.
This was my very first modeling project I did for my Intro to Game Art class. The goal for this project was to make any type of prop that you would see in a video game and the first thing I thought of was a traffic cone, because what game doesn't have traffic cones? This project was an exciting experience and I was really proud of how it turned out, especially as for the first time 3D modeling.
